![]() More photo’s are available on request if necessary. ![]() I'm guessing it was originally rolled up when stored and the weight of other items on top of it has left a repetetive creasing along the poster - it is not a sharp crease and i guess would not be apparent if framed up and professionally presented. It has never been framed and is a remarkable survival. Top right corner has a small tear, it is still connected to the poster and the tear measures aproximately 3 inches / 75mm (see picture) There are two other small tears which are not readily noticable (aproximately 10mm in from the edge) and both are around 1 inch / 25mm in length (see picture) Edges of poster have small tears, creases etc inkeeping with the age of the poster - this poster is over a hundred years old, i feel that for what it is that it remains in good condition with the edges being commensurate with age. The colour of the paper i think has darkened slightly with age, it could be that it is a little dirty - i have made no attempt to clean it, it is in the condition that i found it having been stored in an attic for at least 30 years. CONDITION: Please examine the photographs carefully, ask questions and satisfy yourself to the condition of the item BEFORE bidding - I am not an expert in old posters and will try to give a fair idea of the condition. All are original and definitely NOT reproductions. This poster is one from a collection of theatre hall posters from the same venue, whichi will be listing over the coming weeks.
